Maggies Cancer Charity |
Over the next 12 months, we are assisting as a partner to Motor Sport Simulators, 2 UK charities in raising funding to help them build more cancer related facilities within the UK.
The charities involved are as follows: Maggie’s is a charity that is providing a unique facility for patients and their families who are suffering from the disease. They have a number of the units within the UK and are now looking to fund additional units throughout the country. They have teamed up with the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation, which is also a cancer related charity, in their efforts to raise this funding. The website for both charities can be found at www.maggieescentres.org and www.elizabethmontgomerie.com Motor Sport Simulators were asked to assist them by providing a full size Formula 1 simulator at two very high profile events: · The Johnnie Walker Golf Classic at Gleneagles from August 25th – 28th where we will be running simulator challenges for golf fans and players within the exhibition area. We will be situated within a prime location to gain maximum exposure and the event will feature within the media. This is being arranged by the foundations involved. · Off-Shore Europe is a major exhibition for the oil industry, September 6th – 8th in Aberdeen, and features many high net-worth individuals and companies. Again, we will be attending on behalf of the same 2 charities and looking to raise as much money as possible. There will be over 1,700 exhibition stands and again, we will be in a very high-profile position within the exhibition to gain maximum exposure. We will be doing these events free of charge but will have a great opportunity to fully brand the full size Formula 1 simulator along with race cards, clothing and promotional items. Given the high-profile nature of the events, we believe that there is a great opportunity for us to advertise your brand at both these events.
